This is a pioneering effort by SafeGuard Family to maintain prescriptions as a comprehensive, easy-to-read document.

The SafeGuard Family doctor consolidates all the different prescriptions that an elder is taking from various specialists, say an ortho, cardiologist, ENT, dentist, etc. into one single prescription. The purpose is to remove unnecessary double dosage in same medication, (for eg., two specialists may have advised calcium supplements which could over a period of time result in overdose), updating your dosages, evaluating timelines ( like say someone has advised iron tablets for 6 months and if the elder person is continuing it even after a year), etc.

One of the most beautiful aspects of the program is that it brings one closer to their parents i.e. the family members, be it a son or daughter staying far away, can also participate in the doctor tele-consultation and understand the health status and clear any doubts they may have regarding their parents’ health. The Happiness Session is a crucial part of the Good Health Program. It is a special session curated and delivered by our Senior Psychologist and aims to elevate the emotional toll the Covid pandemic has had on all elders. The session involves helping elders adapt to self- isolation, uncertainty, concern about contracting a killer disease, distance from children, lockdowns and new-normal. She supports the elders to keep the mind calm and positive and thereby help in keeping the body healthy.

Our trained health coach visits the elders every month to check on them, check their vitals, take an update on their health, and facilitate the doctor consultation so that the elders don’t have the pressure of having or managing the devices.

Our lab partners deliver at-home services for all blood works which are part of the Good Health Program and are monitored by our Health Coach.

Our trained health coach conducts an eye examination and retinopathy screening. This helps in early diagnosis of many ailments, especially diabetic retinopathy, one of the main causes of vision loss amongst elders/diabetics. The retinal scan report is evaluated and interpreted by the ophthalmologist.

During the Health Coach visit all medical conditions, consolidated prescriptions and insurance details are stored in our Health Vault, a printout of the health record is provided to the beneficiary which can be carried to the hospital during emergency.Also a softcopy will be share to the referred hospital

As a part of the Good Health Program, our objective is to identify the hospital based on your preference and convenience. We recommend that our beneficiaries call our helpline number in case of an emergency. It would enable us to coordinate Ambulance service associated with the Hospital.

All our Certified and trained Health Coaches have been vaccinated with two doses of Covid-19 vaccine. They’re also trained on the COVID protocols. All medical equipment is fully sanitized before and during the home visit.

As part of our Good Health Program, we have a virtual Doctor consulting your Parents monthly. During these consultations, the Doctor will have a relaxed informal conversation with your Parents while reviewing their general health, test reports (if any) and advise them on minor tweaks to their lifestyle that may be needed. Family members can also participate and get to know about your parents health.

The Good Health Program provides scheduled monthly consultations. Moreover, you can avail unlimited Doctor’s consultation for any additional queries.

NO. You will not require to provide any technology or infrastructure like mobile/laptop or wi-fi to the Health coach. She comes prepared with all that is required and you can now have a hassle free health evaluation experience.

YES! If your son or daughter wishes to participate in the tele consult, we will send them a connect link and they can directly come onto our platform and speak to the doctor during the Consultation.

A Health Coach is a paramedic professional responsible for the well being of your Parents. He/She will visit periodically and continuously monitor your parents health.
